212 Attitude
The only thing standing in the way of you and what you want in your life is effort and faith to believe it’s possible
Hey! Thanks for checking out my website — I appreciate it! Here’s a little bit about me:
I have a straightforward, honest, realistic approach to health and fitness. It’s my proven philosophies that will create lasting healthy lifestyle habits. I’ve developed a practical system to help get you into the best and healthiest shape using simple everyday skills you can easily apply. My focus is holistic — targeting both the physical and mental changes you need to achieve your fitness goals and maintaining a healthy life balance. I work with all clients on nutrition, training and life skills — I believe you can’t change one without the other!
I won my IFBB (International Federation of Bodybuilders) Pro Card in Figure in 2006, and then went on to compete in 3 professional figure shows, totalling 16 competitive figure and fitness shows. Placing either first or second in all amateur shows. I went on to have a very competitive career as a Pro Athlete, gaining valuable experiences along the way. After a 7 year hiatus and a major transformation of my own, I gave the stage one more shot placing 4th at my “rookie” debut and winning my second professional show 5 weeks later, earning me a spot at the Olympia 2015.
I completed my undergrad (Bachelor of Physical Education in Exercise Rehabilitation) from the University of Alberta in 2005 and went directly into an accelerated after-degree program in Nutrition, focusing in Sports Nutrition, including extensive research in metabolic disorders. I have also completed the following:
With the skills and experience I have as a professional Athlete, along with a comprehensive education, I’m confident I’m able to help others desiring change. Teaching people how to be healthy, how simple it can be, and how to maintain balance are key principles that drive my passion to inspire my clients. These are the key foundational elements of 212 Fitness and what my business is based on.
My clients are all friends to me, I invest in their journey and well-being. I truly want to see my clients succeed and believe leading by example is the best way to do so! I’m not just a coach, I walk the walk and talk the talk . . . this is how I live my life and want to do my best to inspire you to live your best life as well!
Simply put, I strive to bring out that one degree of separation in every person… that one thing that propels them towards greatness. My goal is to not only help you get fit, healthy, achieve goals, etc… my goal is to help YOU find that little hidden motivation inside of you that guides you into your ultimate potential. By using health/fitness goals as a tool to better yourself, I want to teach you the unlimited empowerment this can bring… what it is that is going to “separate the good from the great.” We all want to live a great life – this is how: by finding our potential and living our lives to their fullest.
212 Fitness encompasses much more than just health and fitness. Anyone can follow a diet or training program… but what makes it “stick”? What makes it become who you are, so that your goal can become your new reality? So you can really live your life?
Simple. One extra degree, one extra step, one statement can be all you need to change your life. I help you find that separating factor, to take you from where you are now to where you want to be. A better you. An unstoppable locomotive powered by one extra degree.
The only thing standing in the way of you and what you want in your life is effort and faith to believe it’s possible
“It’s one of the most beautiful compensations in life… we can never help another without helping ourselves.”
~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
When you have belief, faith, hope… you have exploding enthusiasm, passion, drive. This lights a fire in our soul, lifts our spirits and propels us forward.
Having a clearly defined, simple goal with a deadline can be all the motivation you need. It can, “capture the imagination and inspire passion. It can cut through the fog like a beacon in the night.”
~ Sam Parker
“Perseverance is not a long race: it is many short races, one after another.”
~ Walter Ellrit
